Major haul from the vendors at West End Markets. A Saturday morning favourite. When: Every Saturday, rain or shine. What: Fruit, veg, some organic, mostly resellers, some growers. Specialty food products, coffee, breakfast, dumplings, those turkish flat bread thingys, Levain breads, other artisan bakers, jewellery, clothes. Vibe: Hippy and busy.
Miroula, Le Bon Chioix
The Good Choice, indeed. THIS is the ultimate cake for people who don't like cake. It's like chocolate mousse made love to creme brulee and a ferrero rocher. Don't try to eat the 'Le Bon Chiox' label. It's not edible. These little orgasmic treats are scaleable: individual cuties are $7.50 and the full slab feeds 50+ at just $165! 4 or 5 sizes in between those two extremes. Le Bon Chioux has stores in Ascot, the CBD and Paddington.
