You get the Endless Summer takeover, on now at the W.
On Thursday night, Dylan and I were lucky enough to trot into the W and enjoy sunset on the Wet Deck. There we were welcomed by an Italian Summer scene - it took me right back to my trip to the Amalfi Coast in 2011. As we mingled with The Beautiful People of Brisbane, we sampled the Endless Summer menu of canapes and cocktails. Rough, I know, but someone has to do it.
The idea of this six week menu is to extend those Summer feels right through to the start of May. Locally-sourced Seafood features heavily on this menu and it's all delicious. We drank our way through 4 Aperol-infused cocktails, too. All tasty, but in my book it's hard to go past the good old Aperol Spritz! You can read more details on the W Brisbane website here.
No need to book at the Wet Deck, just head on up to Level 4 at the Q Brisbane in North Quay between Wednesday and Sunday. Easter opening hours may vary, call ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most days I'm rubbing shoulders with my coworkers or my 3 month old son who is definitely as cute as Laura but not such a great conversationalist, plus he's a rubbish cook.
