Valentine's Day at Three Blue Ducks, Brisbane

After the year that was 2020 - I, for one, am looking forward to getting out and about again around our beautiful city. Outside of COVID, I was pregnant for the vast majority of the year and was not feeling overly social! With babe in arms and fork in hand, I am looking forward to getting out on the town for some memorable dining experiences this year.

I had a wonderful experience at Dan Arnold in the Valley on Friday actually - I didn't take any photos as it was a work lunch but OMG I highly recommend it! Do lunch if you can, as I've heard it's impossible to get in for dinner.

Anyhooooo it's Valentine's Day on Sunday! How did that happen!? We are juggling all three kids that day, so we will do a belated celebration next week. When we do, we are planning to head into Three Blue Ducks at the W Brisbane. We had dinner there A YEAR AGO in February 2020 and it was absolutely magic.

I got the lowdown from the team at Three Blue Ducks this week about what they've got going on for V-Day, and I thought I'd share it with you all. Details below.

W Brisbane is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a delectable four-course dinner at signature restaurant Three Blue Ducks. Featuring panoramic views of the Brisbane River, an evening at Three Blue Ducks is a spectacular way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year over an intimate dinner.

Start the evening with a glass of Bubbles & Co Sparkling Cuvée and enjoy a menu featuring interesting and fresh flavour combinations. Highlights include Wood roasted Moreton Bay bugs with fermented chilli butter, and Dry aged pork cutlet with charred onion soubise, roasted apple, fennel granola and mustard leaf.

For dessert you can’t go past chocolate mousse with raspberry curd and hazelnut crumb, or for something fresh Coconut sorbet with charred pineapple, mango and strawberry gum is also on the menu.
